Bokashi Pro-Gro™ Suggested Applications & Rates

Gardening (perfect for raised beds)

• Use 1 cup Bokashi Pro-Gro™ per 1 cubic ft of soil

• Excellent for no-till gardening: apply with mulch layers and top dressing as directed

Containers (basic soilless mix)

Soilless mix recipe:

• 2/3 soilless medium

• 1/3 perlite or pumice (for aeration)

• Add 1–2 cups Bokashi Pro-Gro™ per 10 gal of mix

Stand-alone organic fertilizer

• Apply3–4 cups Bokashi Pro-Gro™ per 10 gal (approx. 40 L) of soil/media

Mulch layer feeding (apply every 2–3 weeks) for each square foot

• Add 1/4 cup Bokashi Pro-Gro™
• Add 1/3 cup minerals (e.g., carbonatite, azomite, dolomite)
• Top with 1” high-quality compost + 1” high-quality mulch

Top dressing

• Blend 1/4 cup Bokashi Pro-Gro™ into the top layer around plants

• Helps correct deficiencies and optimize plant growth

Foliar feed (tea)

• Brew and strain through a sieve or cheesecloth

• Spread the remaining pulp around plants as a soil feed

• Spray foliage every 2 weeks

• Do not spray on blooms

Soil soak (tea)

• Water plants every 2 weeks using the liquid organic fertilizer

• Works well as a complete lawn fertilizer

• Apply in Spring and Fall

Foliar feed + soil soak (tea recipe)

• Add 1/4 cup Bokashi Pro-Gro™ to 1 gallon of water

• Add 2 tbsp molasses or natural honey

• Mix well and aerate for 24–48 hours
